Calcium hydroxide is packed in 25KG bags, with an inner PE film liner and an outer colored PE woven bag for full sealing. Store the product in a cool and well-ventilated warehouse, away from ignition sources and heat. The relative humidity shall not exceed 80%.

The packages must be tightly sealed to prevent contact with air. Store separately from reducing agents, acids, flammable substances and other materials; mixed storage is strictly prohibited. Bulk or long-term storage is not recommended. Suitable materials shall be available in the storage area to contain spillages.

For transportation, ship the product separately. Ensure all bags remain intact with no leakage, falling or damage during transit. Transport vehicles must be equipped with fire-fighting equipment of appropriate type and quantity. Never ship together with acids, flammables, organics, reducing agents, self-igniting substances and water-reactive flammable materials.

Maintain a moderate driving speed and avoid forced overtaking during transportation. Thoroughly clean and wash transport vehicles before and after loading/unloading to prevent contamination by organics, flammables and other impurities. Do not load calcium hydroxide together with acidic substances on trucks. Shield the cargo from rain during transit. In case of fire, extinguish with water, sand or general fire extinguishers.
